How to install/change battery
- Slide the cap by the direction indicated by the “open” icon, you will hear a “click” sound
- Lift the cap to detach it from sensor body
- Take out the battery from the housing
- Place a new battery into the housing, be mindful with the anode and cathode orientation
- Close the sensor: put down the cap, then slide in until you hear a “click”
Ensuring the original location and orientation of sensors after battery replacement is crucial for optimal performance.
For sensors using magnetic mount, this can be accomplished by retaining the ceiling-mounted magnetic plate and removing the sensor from it.
If needed, use both hands to detach the sensor while maintain the mount plate in place.
Alternatively, mark the location and orientation of the sensor using a sticker or masking tape before removing it from the ceiling.
That will ensure once battery is replaced and sensor is reattached true positioning is maintained for optimal performance.
